Helping Libby and Karl and many others

(Laredo, Texas, Sept. 9, 2004, by Ed Bernd Jr.) A lady in Canada, Libby, ordered a copy of the UltraMind ESP System Home Study Course, and we notified her that we wanted to insure it and therefore could not send it to a post office box. Why the Canadian postal authorities won't accept an insured package that is mailed to their post office is a mystery to us!

I used the MentalVideo that night with the idea of getting all the help for Libby and Karl that I could.

When we heard back from Libby the next day, she expressed some concern... she wanted it as quickly as possible because her husband Karl had an 5.3 cm aortic aneurysm located just below the breast bone, and it was leaking and could burst at any moment and kill him. They were waiting for a hospital room so he could go for surgery. He only had one kidney and all of the stress was impairing its functioning too.

So we notified her that we'd send one via FedEx so it would be there within two days, and we also sent the information about Karl to a number of graduates who like to work health cases and help those who need it.

A little "mistake"

I wrote up an email and - at about 2 a.m. - while adding a lot of names to the "Blind Carbon Copy" line in the address section, I "accidentally" included a woman named Dolores, who is not a UltraMind class graduate. She completed the UltraMind home study course but had not learned yet how to do distant healing which is taught in the live class. I was thinking of another woman. A few minutes after I'd sent the email, I realized my "mistake," and sent a copy to Kathryn, who had recently graduated from the course and was looking for health cases to work.

I felt bad about sending the email to Dolores, but the next day I got a note from her thanking me for including her, and promising to program for Karl and Libby. Dolores had had a lot of success in a difficult job situation using the mental video. Recently she was told she was being laid off, and despite a tight job market, received two job offers and found another job in a very short time. After that I suggested to her that she program for some of her coworkers who also needed new jobs, and she did.

The next day I heard from Libby. Karl had gotten a hospital room. Doctors rushed to examine him when they saw the medical reports about how serious his condition was. They were a bit confused. The aneurysm had shrunk from 5.3 cm to 2.1 cm and it wasn't leaking. His one kidney... which had shut down... began working again. Libby said he was now "peeing like a puppy." In fact, she said it three times. In addition he had been suffering from excruciating hip pain and the pain was completely gone, it mysteriously disappeared even though nothing was done medically for it. She said thank goodness for the problems with mailing to a Canadian Post Office box because if not for that, she probably would never have told us about Karl's condition... and gotten so many outstanding healers working on him.

Unexpected benefits

I passed the word on to everybody who had helped. A few days later I heard from Dolores again. Working on Karl had given her the idea that maybe she could work on her 80 year old mother. She did... and when she talked with her mother a couple days later, her mother was really excited and upbeat and showed improvement from pain that had been limiting her mobility for the past few years. She was even talking about taking a trip to visit relatives in another state, something she had not felt up to doing for a long time because of her pain. There had been no changes made to her mother’s medications, and her doctors had previously told her there wasn't much they could do for her. They told her she would just have to learn to deal with the pain.

I wrote to Dolores and praised her, and congratulated her on her success with her mother....and then, I admitted my "mistake" in sending her the email about Karl and Libby.

She wrote back saying that she was laughing, and asked if I really thought it was a mistake, because so many good things resulted from that event. (Of course not, that's why I put "mistake" in quotes.)

Dolores said that right after she programmed for her coworkers, she began to wonder what else she could do to help people. She said that three days before I “mistakenly” sent her Karl's case, she had programmed with a mental video that she would be provided with ideas on how she could best apply the Silva methods to help people, and to get practice to improve her skills.... she sent a report to her "tutor" - her personal representative on the "other side." She then acted on the mental video guidance she received back (the case I sent her by “mistake”), by choosing to use the 3-Scenes Technique to program for help for Karl, and then later for her mother.

How the tutors help us

Now here's how I think it works: Her tutor passed the word to other tutors, and when my tutor heard about it, checked to see what I was up to. So at 2 am, trying to remember the people who like to work cases, I got a little confused and typed in Dolores instead of Kathryn. Then a few minutes later I realized my "mistake" and sent a copy of the email to Kathryn. I think all that happened because my tutor was somehow influencing me. Why do I think that? Because I had used the Mental Video the night before asking for some good success stories that we can publish!

The mental video is a whole new way of thinking... something that goes far beyond our individual selves, our individual egos, our individual persons. It is not about asking higher intelligence to help us get what we want. It is about asking higher intelligence how we can help do what they want done. "On earth as it is in heaven," Mr. Silva used to remind us. Meaning:

The plans are already laid out in heaven, now it is up to us to carry them out here on earth, in the physical dimension. God - higher intelligence - is spiritual, not physical. So the only way that higher intelligence can do physical work, here in the physical dimension, is through US.

Just be aware that higher intelligence is very creative. You can't predict just how you will receive guidance. It's part of the fun and forces you to stay aware of indications and outcomes. Don't be surprised when you are surprised, sometimes even amused by what higher intelligence comes up with for guidance. It may not be what you expected, but always seems to be most appropriate and much more creative than what you could have thought up yourself.

You are an essential part of the system

We are part of the system. Paul Grivas, one of the best and most spiritual Instructors we ever had, once said that Mr. Silva told him that we are to God, like our fingers are to our hand. Someone asked if the MentalVideo "is for manifesting things." It is not. It is for guidance, to help us make decisions that are the best for everyone concerned, and to help us get the help and support we need to implement those decisions - the decisions that we make with the help of higher intelligence.

I hope this example helps you understand the MentalVideo a little better. Stick with it... as I mentioned, it was almost a year and a half after I recorded the conditioning of the MentalVideo for Mr. Silva before I had a clue what it was really all about. Other people are now catching on a whole lot quicker than I did.

Study the Laws of Programming. They are essential. Look up the word "law" in the dictionary and you'll understand. A law is laid down, fixed. You don't break laws... they don't break. So if you don't follow the Laws of Programming - if you don't understand the basis concept that we were not sent here for an 80 year vacation, but were sent here to do the work that higher intelligence wants us to do - then the MentalVideo won't work for you.

Jose Silva's favorite formula

Mr. Silva's favorite formula was this:

Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven (we think that's the alpha level).

Function within God's righteousness (do what God sent you here to do).

And (then as a result) all else shall be added unto you.

That's the opposite of what we've been taught by so many people for so many years. They teach us to set our goals, go after them, and when we start getting the things we want, remember to tithe... to give 10 percent to charity.

Mr. Silva prefers the other formula... not to try to bargain with God, not to wait until you get what you want... but to function within God's righteousness and then you'll get everything you need. Not necessarily everything you want, but everything you need.

The formula doesn't say to go have fun. It doesn't say to do only those things you enjoy. It says to do what higher intelligence wants you to do. Whether you like it or not. There's a great quote from Abraham Lincoln. During the war, he told some people that the question is not whether God is on our side, but whether we are on God's side.

Instead of praying for God to help us out, Mr. Silva believed that we should pray for instructions and guidance from higher intelligence, and also let them know what our needs are. When we are doing our job, our needs will be met. All else will be added unto us. Mr. Silva called this the "Second phase of human evolution on the planet." We call it "a new way of thinking.

Followup

There’s one more note to the story of Libby and Karl: Turns out that Karl has two aneurysms - a small one and a large one. At the hospital, the doctor only saw the small one. Evidently that "mistake" bought them enough time so that they ended up making the correct decision. There are some other unanticipated benefits too.

Libby explained it this way:

Karl's Home doctor, Dr. Smith, phoned this morning to tell him that because two doctors were working on him he was discharged before things were explained to him properly.

Apparently the measurement of 5.3 cm isn't as "dire" as they thought and since the surgery of this type to repair the aneurysm is more critical than the aneurysm itself at this time, surgery has been postponed and he has to go back for CT scans every three months so they can keep an eye on it.

We were all delighted when we got the news that it had shrunk to only 2.1 cm...especially when there was no medical explanation. It turns out has two aneurysms, the smaller and the larger.

We all know that things happen for a reason and I believe the reason is to give Karl and the healers working on him a little more time. Please keep your group working on him to 'heal and repair' both aneurysm's and to get his pinched nerve unpinched.

Karl is working with me on the on-line course to learn centering and will take the Home Study Course with me when it arrives. I believe that Karl's "Mission" is to become a healer. The few times he has meditated he immediately sees color, and is able to do distant viewing quite easily. Can you imagine how hard his tutor is trying to get his attention! They sure must be frustrated with him.

He got a big scare when the doc phoned this morning and has been asking a lot of “Psychic/Spiritual” questions...he's now ready and his teachers have indeed appeared. <chuckle>
