Overcoming inner blocks

Q: I am deeply interested in personal growth and business. For some time now I have wanted to start a Reiki practice, but there is something within me that is stopping me and I want to find out what that is. It feels like a "wall" that keeps me from progressing. From what I have read about your program it is just what I need to help me move forward. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A: It sounds like what you need is the MentalVideo Technique. It takes a little while to catch on to how it works and how to use it, and it is worth the time it takes. We can actually get guidance from higher intelligence, and help, to find out what direction we should take.

In your MentalVideos, depict the direction you think you should be going... that is, make a "video" of you taking the steps towards starting your Reiki business, and actually getting the business started; then during the next three days, look (with your eyes) for indications of how to proceed.

If you get some "coincidences" that move you in that direction, you are on the right track. If you keep running into obstacles, then go to your center (the alpha level) and think about it and see if there is some other way to proceed.

That's how higher intelligence guides: With objective feedback - in the physical world. Not a hunch or idea... those could be our own fantasies, fears, hopes. Something physical, that anybody could see... if they are looking.

We don't give up at the first obstacle. Overcome come it, and keep going. When you encounter another obstacle, overcome it also... and notice whether it was easier or more difficult to overcome. Same with the next obstacle. If each one is easier to overcome than the previous one, keep going! If each one is twice has hard to overcome as the previous one, then that could be an indication you are going in the wrong direction.

Mr. Silva always said that "We don't batter down doors. If a door won't open, after you make several attempts, then back off and look to see if there is another door." And somebody else observed that when we back off to see if there is another door, we might discover that the door we were pushing on... actually opens towards us! A "pull," not a "push." :-)

Q: About the mental screen technique, on the CD, you mentioned after going to alpha, to review the video that you made in beta and then come up with a solution in a step by step fashion. If I knew the step, why would I need to ask for help?

A: Good question on the MentalVideo. Mr. Silva's idea is that we should go as far as we can go before we call on higher intelligence. As he said, it is not our job to put God to work... just the opposite: He believed that God sent us here to do the work.

So... if you know the end result that you desire, and that you believe is best for all concerned and will improve conditions on the planet, but have no idea how to get there, that's what you depict in your MentalVideo. Grab a shot of you sitting there looking befuddled. If you are not sure what that looks like, we'll send you a picture in our normal state! :-)

And if you know the steps to take, include them in your MentalVideo in case higher intelligence has a better idea for you. That's why they are higher intelligence... they sometimes have better ides than we have!
